What is a VA?

A Virtual Assistant (VA) is a self-employed professional, who runs their own business performing a wide range of office functions for one or more clients.

As the VA is working "virtually" there is no need for the client to provide office equipment, full-time staff or have to make benefit payments.

Virtual Assistants work confidentially and independently within their own office environment. They can provide tailored services to large or small businesses, as well as businesses who travel frequently and may be too busy for the day-to-day running of their business, and sometimes even their private life.
